A native of Montreal, Quebec, I came to watercolour as a late bloomer. Previous studies and completing a BSC at McGill U (major in Wildlife Resources) left little room to explore my artistic inclinations.
While taking the Biological Illustration courses offered by entomologist Professor George Hsiung, I discovered the immense satisfaction of putting deep emotions to paper with the help of water as a medium. My dream now, is to create artwork that not only captures the eye but also the heart.
My passion for watercolour allows me to explore my inner self and to profoundly live the present moment. I welcome inspiration from the world around me, ensuring my mind remains fertile ground for my art to flourish. My aspiration now, is to create artwork that not only captures the eye but also the heart. I am now a full-time artist and able to finally pursue my lifetime dream more earnestly, to connect and share.
I am an active member of several art associations and participate in various solo and group art shows in Montreal and surrounding areas. Always looking for new challenges and personal growth, I still delight in taking part in creativity workshops with fellow artists.I was twice awarded the first prize in the Amateur Watercolour category of the city of Pierrefonds Art Contest, and more recently the first prize as a professional artist.
My artwork graces private collections across Canada, the US and in Europe.
